The journey to The Mango House begins with a sunlit walk along the pier, followed by a peaceful drive down a quiet dirt road, shaded by a canopy of lush green trees. As you step through the gates, the house reveals itself gradually, blending harmoniously with the surrounding landscape. The mango trees, the site’s long-standing residents, dictated the house’s form. In a thoughtful response to their intricate network of roots, the design preserves their presence, making them active participants in the architecture.
